There is need to strengthen Project ownership among employees of the Institute of Marine Biology and with all relevant stakeholders

Dr. MirkoĐurović, Direktor of Institute of Marine Biology, presented short information about MonteAqua project to employers. MonteAqua project manager, Dr. Radoje Laušević presented activities and benefits of project. Workshops that will be organized during the project have a plenty of benefits especially in strengthening cooperation between Institute and different institutions and also between employees. For institutes’ employers beside organizing workshops, will have opportunity to write studies on different relevant themes.

Overall impact of project will increased public awareness on importance of water ecosystems and strengthened institutional capacities for adoption of appropriate law provisions and implementing acts for achieving full transposition of EU legislation in the field of Nature Protection (relevant to water ecosystems) that will improve Enhanced Montenegrin EU integration process in Chapter 27:Environment.
